80s Porn Star Lois Ayres

anonymous asked: Lois Ayres?

Lois Ayres (born May 24, 1963 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American porn star. Ayres dropped out of High School in 1980, during her junior year to move to Los Angeles. She soon after got her GED.

She first entered the adult industry in 1982 by modelling for adult magazines and her mom wrote the original letter for Lois to send to a magazine pitching herself. She admitted that she was in the business initially purely for the paycheck however she grew to enjoy it and not just focus on the pay check. In 1986, her career reached Superstar status after landing the role of Justine Jones in The Devil in Miss Jones parts 3 & 4.

Commenting on the industry around 2005 she stated “I liked it better the way things used to be when it was like everyone belonged to one big family. When Amber and Ginger Lynn, Nina Hartley, Sharon Mitchell and myself were headlining, it seemed more close-knit. We were all friends. Nowadays people are so into themselves, and that’s why there is so much backstabbing going on among female performers. They are all trying to one-up each other. The business was more laid back ten years ago.”

Lois quit porn in 1989 to recover from drug addiction before returning a couple of years later. She also began feature dancing in this time period. Ayres spent most of 1996 stripping in Japan where she earned around $30,000 a week Ayres was recognized for her contributions to the adult industry by being inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 1998.

80's Goth Girls / Batcave Club

anonymous asked:
Y’all got an goth girls specifically batcave style

For those not in the know:

“The Batcave was a nightclub in London, at Meard Street, Soho. It is considered to be the birthplace of the Southern English goth subculture as it had already been established in Northern England, in particular Leeds Manchester and Belfast. Though when the culture was being developed in the North of England it was commonly known as alternative prior to having been given the gothmoniker. As one of the most famous meeting points for early goths, it lent its name to the term Batcaver, used to describe fans of the original gothic rock music, who would adorn themselves in Batwing Coffin necklaces to distinguish themselves from other less prolific goth nightclubs. The term “Batcave” is also still used by Europeans to refer to gothic music with a prominent post-punk sound and spooky atmospheres.”

Although we don’t know if of these women are Batcavers, here is a collection we put together of British punk/goth girls from the 80′s that should fit the bill. Thanks for following!
