Samantha Strong is an American porn star. She won the 1988 AVN Award for Best New Starlet and is an inductee in AVN Hall of Fame. In the late 1980s she was involved in a contract dispute with Vivid Entertainment, stemming from her refusal to perform with bisexual actor Jeff Stryker, who in some actresses’ minds presented an AIDS risk. Strong eventually agreed to perform with Stryker in the 1988 film The Heiress. She was in a relationship with author and police informant Jimmy Keene, who aided the police in securing a confession from serial killer Larry Hall.

Ayres spent most of 1996 stripping in Japan where she earned around $30,000 a week Ayres was recognized for her contributions to the adult industry by being inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 1998.
