We’d be remiss to post Mariska Hargitay (who plays Olivia Benson in Law and Order: SVU) without including some of her mother and famous actress, Jayne Mansfield. Mansfield was tragically killed in a car crash where she was almost decapitated with the impact of the crash. 3-year-old Mariska was asleep in the backseat at the time and escaped with minor injuries. She says she will never forget the death of her mother.
